In addition to transporting passengers and cargo in Portugal via its airline, the aeronautical academy is an international benchmark for anyone wishing to train as a pilot, cabin crew member, flight operations officer or aircraft maintenance technician. The maintenance division is a leader in maintenance and engineering services for general aviation, and the group also has the capacity for the sale and after-sales service of aircraft and avionics equipment.”
There was already an existing relationship between Quantinfor and Sevenair and the goal was set. It was necessary to migrate all their data and applications to cloud environments and improve data security, in this way we would be able to achieve an improvement in their speed and better define permissions and access to company information.
Currently, Sevenair has around 70 to 80 users, however, as it is expanding rapidly, it expects to reach 100 employees in the coming weeks. For this reason, it was imperative to change the storage location that was being used to access data and applications to another one that would allow scaling whenever necessary.
In this sense, several virtual cloud servers were created to ensure the best performance for accessing data and applications. Choosing Quantinfor as a partner was decisive, as they presented a turn-key solution with no need for additional worries. The implementation of the project proceeded normally, taking a short time and with virtually no interruption in access to data and applications. The involvement of the client's IT team was fundamental, as they know all the existing processes.
